With Nicki Minaj blowing up the spotlight and tearing Lil Kim down with various diss tracks after Lil Kim allegedly launched the first assault, but the bottom to the truth has been one that is difficult to find as it has been said for a while that Nicki Minaj was the one to launch the first verbal strike at Kim. In any case, it appears that Kim is still feeling the wrath of Nicki’s diss track(s) and success and instead of going full-force in focusing on revamping her music career, Kim is now reportedly going into the reality show world in looking for America’s Next Best Rapper with director Little X and record producer Rockwilder.
Now call us crazy, but an artist who has not been on the music scene for the longest time with an album worth talking about and having signed a new record deal and seemingly is not focused on making good music doesn’t sound like a confident artist to us. Please, we hope this news of Lil Kim starting a Hip Hop reality show is not true but that rather she is working on putting out new music material. We are tired of her excuses revolving around distribution and record label conflicts as the reason as to why she has not put out new music that is worth our time. Its as they say, put up or shut up.
With all the bragging and trash talking Lil Kim has done(not to say that Nicki has done the same but she has backed it up) and sent Nicki’s way, she sure is avoiding showcasing “her talents” for a comeback on the music scene, or is it that she knows her time is up and that Nicki is too much of a force to deal with and so her best option is to start a hip hop reality show.
