Somewhere in a posh state Mariah Carey is drinking glasses of wine crying, sulking and bitching about American Idol looking at Nicki Minaj as the queen bitch on their judging panel, instead of her. This is not good for a self-proclaimed diva as Mariah Carey who believes everyone should bow to her feet and that we are all beneath her. One thing Mariah forgot to take note of in her consistent arrogant state is that there are high and low points in life and she is coming to her low scale. The reality is, Mariah Carey is not the dreams of many as she once was, she is aging and it shows, and it appears that Idol recognizes this along with Mariah’s diva attitude, which would not go over well with viewers as such behavior can only be tolerated for so long.
Much of Nicki Minaj’s physical asset maybe fake, but the fact is, she is younger than Mariah and has a younger more upbeat fan base. With Nicki’s addition and putting her in place as the head female of the judging panel, this maybe a better move for idol in rejuvenating its base and extending to a new area of viewers instead of taking a chance on Mariah.
According to sources who spoke to TMZ, Mariah thought she was going to be the only female on the judging panel and allegedly was ticked off and hung up the phone as she was informed of Nicki being one of Idol’s top option for the judging gig. Nick Cannon must be loving this. Interesting to see how far Idol kicks Mariah under the bus and if she stays there.
