Today was a day of sadness, as the funeral of Whitney Houston took place and she was remembered at New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, NJ. The tears and sadness by many at the funeral and across the world displayed the love many had for Whitney. As we watched the live feed of Whitney Houston’s funeral, the consistent thought was present in our minds of a precious, talented, beautiful, nice-young-person we have lost and the increased level of sadness just took hold of us.
There has been many celebrity deaths over the years which could have been avoided; we only hope that Whitney’s her tragic death can serve as a message for handlers surrounding celebrities to be wiser and for celebrities to have more appreciation for their bodies.
