Espn Anchor Stuart Scott Battling For His Life Amid Cancer Return
Such sad news. ESPN anchor Stuart Scott made it public on Twitter that he is once again on another battle in fighting cancer. After successfully beating cancer before, Scott announced on Twitter that the cancer has returned, and had this to say to those who sent prayers:
“Blessed by prayers..I’m back in the Fight. C reared its head again. Chemo evry 2 wks but I’ll still work, still work out..still #LIVESTRONG”
And he continued:
“Thanks for prayers..ill fight w ALL C survivors & loved ones. Cancer wants to re-appear..picked the right guy cuz I HIT HARD all day long!!” He gave his followers a look inside his routine: “Here’s what I do right aftr chemo. Leave the infusion center & go STRAIGHT 2 either do a p90x wkout or train MMA..THATS how you #LIVESTRONG”
2007 was the first time Scott fell ill while at a Football game. The situation caused Scott to be rushed into emergency appendectomy that revealed appendiceal cancer. Scott fought the cancer for six months with the help of chemotherapy untill he became cancer-free in early 2011. Unfortunately for Scott, doctors discovered malignant tumors had developed on his small intestine, which required more surgery and chemotherapy to treat the cancer and the cancer has once again returned leaving Scott with another hard fight for his life.
