The talk of Sean Paul having slept with Beyonce has been a suspected thought for a long time along with Jay Z’s reported jealously over the Dancehall reggae artist island swag amongst Beyonce. Sean Paul recently sat down with MTV’s Rap Fix Live and spoke on the thought by many suspecting he slept with Beyonce… here is what he had to say:
“That’s a rumor that started. I’ve known Jay-Z from before I knew her. The general public blew it up in certain things. I just remained quiet about it for years because it was doing its work. There was just a lot of controversy.”
“She’s an amazing artist, the song was at #1 for like nine weeks, so that was a very special time for me and for dancehall.”
So there you have it, Sean Paul never slept with Beyonce, and essentially he was enjoying the rumors as it fed into the attention of his music.
