Well, at least Nick Cannon understands one thing and that is, money cannot buy love and affection. Reports are that Nick Cannon is upset and jealous of wife Mariah Carey and Lenny Kravitz ‘s close relationship, and the height in tension in their relationship has risen over Mariah and Lenny Kravitz’s crush for each other since childhood and their continued close connection as friends.
Despite Mariah and Lenny Kravitz reportedly liking each other as more than friends, they have never jumped at the chance of hooking up but instead have chosen to remain as close friends. Its all not sitting well with Nick Cannon, especially since Mariah’s Twitter request for Lenny Kravitz to be on Idol‘s Judging panel with her, which only is said to have fumed Nick even more. Upon hearing Nick’s concerns:
“Mariah told Nick to relax because lenny probably wouldn’t even consider doing the show. But Nick told her, ‘That’s not the point! I know how you feel about him!’ mariah assured Nick that she and Lenny are just good friends, but Nick’s not so sure.
When it comes to American Idol, Nick was upset at Mariah taking Idol’s judging gig and was trying everything he could to deter her from taking the judging position. If true, its a pretty sad situation. With all the women Nick has been with, we expected more from him. How can he really believed he could tame a diva. According to a source:
“Nick wants her to be a stay-at-home mom to their twins, at least until they turn 5. He was even hoping to have another baby, but Mariah has effectively scorched that dream.”
Mariah and Nick’s relationship may have lasted longer than we predicted, but no way do we believe these two will grow old together or be together when their kids turn 18. Nick’s jealously over Mariah and Lenny Kravitz‘s long-lasting crush for each other, and Mariah seemingly unwillingness to do anything to put anyone at ease, it can be expected for Mariah and Nick’s marriage to derail.
