Yeah, a Chinese man came up with the ultimate romantic plan for his girlfriend(Li Wang) that almost killed him. Hu Seng of China like any man thought it would be cool to present his girlfriend with the most beautiful, thoughtful gift, but the executed thought almost killed him. What he did, ok here goes… Hu Seng decided that there is was no better gift for his girlfriend than himself, so he decided to jump into a courier box, curling himself into the baby position, having a friend tape the box and sending it via courier service to his girlfriend’s workplace.
First of all, who knew someone can actually mail themselves to another person and that the courier service would not detect that it was a body for a parcel they were delivering. Anyways, back to this clown, so after being sealed shut in the box by his friend to be delivered to his girlfriend, Hu Seng’s plan was to pop out of the box to surprise her but instead after opening the box with him inside, Hu Seng’s girlfriend found him passed out in the box due to lack of oxygen.
Clearly, Hu Seng’s plan was not a thought out one, he didn’t weigh out what he would do if he got delivered to a different address, which happened and the predicted hours of delivery(20 minutes) possibly being delayed which also happened along with no alternative breathing supply in the box with him. Instead of his package arriving at his destination in 20 minutes as it should, there was some confusion in the correct address and the parcel containing Hu Seng took three hours to deliver. After Hu Seng’s girlfriend opened the parcel and found him unresponsive, paramedics were called in to revive him, and according to reports Hu Seng had a friend on-standby taping the whole thing that was suppose to be joyful.
After the entire ordeal and being revived, here is what Hu Seng had to say:
“I didn’t realize it would take so long. “I tried to make a hole in the cardboard but it was too thick and I didn’t want to spoil the surprise by shouting.”
At the end of the day, it was all a stupid idea, so many things could have gone wrong for Hu Seng. He is lucky to be alive. Imagine if the courier company decided they were going to deliver the parcel the next day instead of on that day.
