I always questioned Vanessa Bryant’s actions as to why she would remain in a relationship with Kobe Bryant despite his cheating. Vanessa’s views smashes all my questions as to why she would stick with a man who has cheated on her repeatedly and is rumored to still be on a mission to bang any woman who is hot to him and is willing to spread her legs for him.
Since the cheating scandal that almost derailed his career, and his public apology to his Vanessa, Kobe has not proven to be a changed man, and this is said to be why Vanessa allegedly filed for divorce that saw her walking away with millions and two mansions. Vanessa realizing all the perks that would be slashed from her life in being with an NBA star player as Kobe, quickly cancelled the divorce filing. Having material things and millions of dollars that would see her not having to work a day in her life was not good enough for Vanessa, she wanted the perks in life too and a winner of a man.
Grounded and humble people understand that the most important thing in life when it comes to a relationship is not wealth and perks of life but rather trust, loyalty, loving someone and being loved back, but don’t tell that to Vanessa. We always suspect that Vanessa is using her NBA star husband financially as much as he is seemingly using her sexually and as a trophy wife, but in an article with NY Magazine, Vanessa displayed her personality clearly when she said this:
“I certainly would not want to be married to somebody that can’t win championships. If you’re sacrificing time away from my family and myself for the benefit of winning championships, then winning a championship should happen every single year.
First off, who the hell says that kind of sh*t. Instead of being fortunate to be in a situation where she is secured financially and looking at the obstacles overcome to achieve a good life compared to many Americans wondering how they will pay their next rent or mortgage payments- Vanessa springs a comment which only showcases the mind of an ungrounded, unrealistic-status-hungry person caring about her own agenda.
And the clear insight as to why Vanessa cancelled her divorce and what she really loves about Kobe why she continues to stay with Kobe despite his unwillingness to stay loyal to her can be detected in her comments below:
“I’ve been with Kobe since I was 17, so I’ve seen plenty of players, and plenty of wives, come and go. It wouldn’t benefit me whatsoever to have an issue with any of them, whether they were a girlfriend, or a wife, a person-of-a-month, or … you know. And I think that’s why the Lakers as an organization give me the access that I have, that other wives don’t have.” [She talks about the tunnel on the way to the locker room that she stands in to give Kobe a kiss after games, the one that cameras always pan to.] “If you notice, I am the only one allowed in that tunnel. I don’t like standing outside and giving him a kiss in front of all the cameras. So I stand in there to get away from them. But then the cameras end up following. And if the girls are there, sometimes, that’s their kiss good night for Daddy, and when he comes home, they’re asleep.”
And if you dare to perceive Vanessa as someone taking it easy because she is sitting on a pile of cash, you betta think again, here is what she had to say about what people think she does:
I think people imagine that I sit at home with all the time in the world to do my hair and makeup, but that’s certainly not the case,” she says. “I’m up at 6:30 in the morning with my kids. I’m taking them wherever they need to go.”
So hilarious…she is rich and is a stay at home mom and still uses a nanny. Just comedic. I like how she says she takes her kids wherever they need to go, doesn’t sound like a hard schedule to me.
