Yes, just another person calling aging-money motivating rapper Jay Z a liar on his ownership claims of the Brooklyn Nets. Jay Z’s actions in trying to convince the small minds that he is full part owner of the Brooklyn Nets is rubbish, we know this, and Dr Cornel West is just another person coming forward smashing Jay Z’s lies. Juicy Tings, the New York Post, Dr West and many others have viewed the thought of Jay Z owning the Brooklyn Nets as rubbish. Jay Z has never come forward stating his exact weight of involvement with the the Nets, but in the times we live in, relevant information has its way of landing in the laps of the the rightful people.
Here is what West had to say about the misleading claims by Jay Z making many believe he is a full part owner of the Brooklyn Nets:

Any person with common sense would know that Jay Z is not part or has equal ownership rights of the Brooklyn Nets… Jay Z is said to be worth an estimated 300 million, the Nets at the time of purchase was said to be worth over 300 million, the Nets new arena is said to be have been built for over $300 million, can Jay Z’s rap dollars step to the plate of these deep cost. No way. Its not believable that Jay Z would throw over half his net-worth on the Nets to be part owner, plus, not to mention other hidden cost that goes into owner an NBA team. Its time Jay Z give it up and just speak the truth of his minority ownership, which is close to nothing in regards to ownership of the Nets.
