Jay Z still would like us to believe that he has some huge stake in the Brooklyn Nets’ franchise, but we refuse to believe his spew or short boast by way of not explaining his position with the team- trying to leave us to believe he is really somebody within the Nets’ franchise. Article after article have been written on Jay Z’s sprouting around the Brooklyn Nets’ franchise boasting to the public as if he is part owner of the team, and many have thrown his movement to the side as no one is believing that Jay Z is part owner of the Brooklyn Nets, which last time we heard was valued at over $300 million dollars. Jay Z living in his world of dream had this to say at a recent concert performance for the Brooklyn Nets:
We still got a long way to go because everybody wanna diminish your accomplishment. When I look at the paper and I see them talking, ‘Ehh.. he owns one-fifteenth.’ First of all, I don’t know where they get that number from but I’m cool with it. I know it’s not about me, it’s about y’all. What I mean by that is, it’s not personal to me. They know that if you see me standing here that you know it’s possible to achieve great things. Don’t let anybody diminish your accomplishments. It’s our motherf-cking time now.
What the hell is Jay Z talking about his accomplishment being diminished, what an idiot. The facts are the facts, lets put up or shut up… why does he not show us the facts and speak of them in length if he does own half of the Nets franchise. Because, the truth is, Jay Z’s financial involvement in the Brooklyn Nets is nothing significant that would place him in ownership status. Our ground still stands, Jay Z is not part owner of the Brooklyn Nets. Its always good to dream, but dreaming doesn’t make a situation reality.
