Tyler Perry recently took an un common route in his acting career… the actor, director and studio owner decided to take a new route in his entertainment career by engaging in a project(Alex Cross) that is not Madea.
Perry who has blown his way onto the movie business scene thanks to his Madea franchise that has connected with many African Americans(his core audience) thought he could climb over into another genre. However, Perry was proven wrong, the numbers for Alex Cross was a disappointment. It was a clear message by Perry’s fans saying that they prefer him only as Madea. Perry begging his fans to support Alex Cross clearly didn’t work, and somewhere we assume he is working hard at his next Madea film.
