Child rapist Jerry Sandusky didn’t get the 400 years in prison as many thought he would, but the judge gave him a sentence of 30-60 years that will certainly see him dying in prison. Sandusky has denied all the charges against him, the guilty verdict and the claims by the boys who gave detailed description of what Sandusky did to them and told them not to say. The evidence was overwhelming and as a result Sandusky was found guilty on 45 counts of sexual assault involving 10 to 15 boys.
Here is what is being reported according to TMZ:
Sandusky will serve NO LESS than 30 years, because under Pennsylvania law, he can’t be released on parole before the minimum term is up. He will get credit for 112 days served.
Sporting a fresh pair of shackles, Sandusky wore a red prison jumpsuit to court and appeared thinner than usual. He was also wearing a bulletproof vest.
Jerry’s wife Dottie was in attendance when the judge issued the sentence. Six of Sandusky’s victims were also present.
