…Hulk Hogan appears to think so.
Another week, and its Hulk Hogan and that sex tape whining again. In case you haven’t heard Hulk Hogan has a sex tape circulating, which is said to last approximately 30 minutes and Hogan is suing Gawker for publishing a snip of the tape. Hogan is also suing his best friend Bubba the Love Sponge and his ex-wife for recording the intimate session without his permission. Frankly, a tape of Hulk Hogan having sex with a woman who has since expressed her disappointment in the session essentially is calling Hogan a lame, embarrassing f**k.
Whether Hogan knew he was being recorded or not is still up in the air, but the way we look on all this is the revenge of punishment to Hogan for having sex with his ”best friend” ex-woman. Is there really a man out there with respect for himself and valuing friendship that would have sex with his buddy’s ex-wife, and is there a woman that would do the same. Did Hogan have permission from Sponge to have sex with his ex-wife and is Sponge the man that can be heard in the background of the sex tape is unknown, but sometimes things in life comes to haunt one by their lack of moral and respect.
It’s unclear how much in “damages” Hogan is seeking from his former best friend, Sponge. Now, we don’t know the net-worth of Gawker, but its difficult to believe the gossip website is worth 100 million dollars, and it would be interesting to see how Hogan and his joke attorneys came up with a lawsuit figure of 100 million dollar to launch against Gawker.
Hogan needs to just give it up, suing a website for publishing explicit video of him getting down with the ex-wife of his best friend should be seen as freedom of information, Gawker being sued by Hogan is a free act as well, but the court system should not grant any judgement in favour to Hogan against Gawker, but rather send a message to the aging former wrestling star that he should take more care in who he has sex with. Hogan’s lawyer, David R. Houston in his press conference sent an indirect threat out to other Bloggers saying that they will go after anyone who republishes the footage with a vengeance. Our thoughts, look to see Hogan’s 100 million dollar lawsuit against Gawker thrown out the door by a reasonable judge.
