Things are just not in favour of Bobby Brown since the death of his ex-wife, Whitney Houston. On the day of Whitney’s funeral, multiple reports are circulating that Bobby Brown wanted to bring nine people into the church with him and was denied by the Houston family. Reports are that Bobby was invited to the funeral with a plus two, but thought it was ok to show up at the funeral with nine other people. Bobby allegedly became angry when he was told his entire crew would not be allowed in the church. In addition, claims are that after Bobby entered the church and sat down, he was moved several times to different seating areas within the church by a security team. Frustrated and angry, Bobby Brown left Whitney Houston’s funeral before it even started, not before kissing the casket containing Whitney.
Here is Bobby Brown’s explanation in bolting from Whitney Houston’s funeral as fast as he arrived:
“My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston. We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions.”
More from Bobby:
”I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move. Security then prevented me from attempting to see my daughter Bobbi-Kristina. In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene.”
And in case if you want to bad mouth Bobby in your belief that he disrespected Whitney Houston, don’t even go there, because this is what Rev. Al Sharpton had to say of Bobby’s action at the funeral:
“He showed nothing but love and respect for Whitney. I wish people would leave Bobby alone”
Under those circumstances, Bobby Brown leaving Whitney Houston’s funeral early should not be a blaming stance, as any of us in his position would have felt devalued, disrespected and embarrass and how could one stay in an environment where the increasing feeling of not being wanted is so present.
