WTF Quote: Alicia Keys

Some celebrities often say a lot of shit that doesn’t make much sense, trying to make themselves sound all intelligent but then in the end make themselves sound stupid and Alicia Keys is our first to kick off our stupid comment category. Here is what she had to say about why she decided to have a baby:

“It was a time of transition. There were certain people [I was working with] who weren’t right. I had friends who weren’t right anymore. I was tired and I had overworked myself and burnt myself out. So I went to Egypt by myself. When I saw what was built there, it made me understand how powerful we are, that we can create anything. And I felt like I needed to create things that were timeless too.”

Ok, I understand that this comment was based on her trip to Egypt and what came to her decision in having a child and naming the child Egypt. I just think a simple thought as to why she had a child at her stage in life is better than trying to get all deep and sentimental as she always seems to be trying to do.
