Look at them, it’s not easy to tell them apart. Just weeks ago, active NBA player Jason Collins set the Internet ablaze after he revealed that he is gay and explained he knew all along that he was-even when he was engaged to marry a woman.

Currently active free agent NBA player Jason Collins is now facing the reality after he disclosed to the world that he is gay. It’s just like Antawn Jamison said, not everyone will be open to Jason Collins coming out of the closet as the media would like you all to think. After Collins disclosed to the world that he is gay and calling it a beautiful thing, it didn’t take long for death threats to start coming in, and here is just a few as spotted over at TMZ:

Yes, believe it. Jason Collins had a woman at one point in time, and he was close to spending the rest of his life with her. In his announcement to the world in coming out of the closet, Collins has said he knew he was always gay.
Fighting his sexual preference for men, Collins seemingly thought that by getting a woman whom he almost married would distract his focus and sexual attention to men. Obviously, that didn’t work. Carolyn Moos(above) who was with Collins for seven years says she had no idea Collins was gay until his announcement yesterday to the world. Collins was engaged to Moos up until 2009.

Yes, Jason Collins will be flaunting the rainbow flag come June. Since Collins announced that he is gay, there is nothing stopping him now in joining the Gay Pride Parade on June 8th. Collins received a rocket invitation to lead the Boston Gay Pride Parade after he announced to the world that he prefers men over women.

It didn’t take long for a heterosexual professional athlete to respond in confusion to NBA player Jason Collins admitting that he likes men. Not long after Collins made the entire world know that he is black and gay, NFL player Mike Wallace said this:
All these beautiful women in the world and guys wanna mess with other guys SMH.
Believe it or not, Wallace’s comments above are being called by some as homophobic. Call us crazy and stupid, but no where do we see anything homophobic in Wallace’s comments. Wallace’s comments are with reason and shared by many heterosexual men, but are rarely heard aired.
After being lashed on twitter land and in small pockets of the media, Wallace who plays for the Miami Dolphins said this:

NBA players are cringing in their shorts(behind the scenes of course) with discomfort after active NBA player Jason Collins disclosed that he is gay. Collins is the first active NBA player to publicly disclose he is gay, and the news has many spinning their heads.
Collins coming out of the closet with his disclosure has taken over the headlines- running through different media outlets displaying even more power of high ranking gay executives and managers behind the scenes who seek to squash any discomfort towards gays by trying to persuade the majority against the sexual preference that being gay is a natural way of life. Collins who currently plays for the Washington Wizards disclosed his love for men in the latest Sports Illustrated issue saying this:
