There should be no surprise here, you just knew the day was going to come for this type of method to be implemented, its just a bit heart-breaking seeing the state of the economy and people trying to find jobs and now the computers are slowing taking over some sectors.
European McDonald’s restaurants are gearing up to replace cashiers with touch screen computers at terminals where customers will be able to order their hamburgers and fries and pay with credit cards. The touch screen method of ordering is said to improve efficiency and make the average transaction three to four seconds faster for each customer but is this what customers want and that will keep them coming back.
Do you prefer to order from an electronic system at McDonald’s or a live person?
Flava Flav seems to be focus on preventing any kind of money shortage from happening, so he is getting his business attire on. But the only problem is, Flav seems to be starting off on the wrong foot in achieving success. He opened up a chicken restaurant, which is not the worse thing you can do if you have the money, but opening a business of the same kind to a power house long-lasting in the fast-food chicken sector, now this is a bad move.
Flav recently opened up his new chicken restaurant spot right next door to Kentucky Fried Chicken. This is such a dumb move. Flav’s chicken spot opened yesterday and we are counting the days until it goes out of business. We never wish bad on anyone who is looking to get their entrepreneurship going, but with a stupid business location move Flav made, this is sure to be one that locks down real fast.
The owner of KFC is not even worried about Flav’s restaurant being next door to his Business, here is what he had to say:
“We’ve been in business since 1963, we always welcomed competition. We have competed with six or seven brands over that time and as long as we take care of The Colonel’s chicken, we will be just fine.”
Check out Flav in the kitchen of his new chicken spot
Wow! This is a good movement for Flav, we hope that this new venture is huge success for him. One thing with Flav, he sure knows how to captivate a room.
What ya think, will Flav’s restaurant become really successful?
It is well known that text while driving is an dangerous act, causing the driver to lose alertness and the high risk on an accident occurring that can end the lives of many, yet there are many idiots out there that still do this. Disney does not take this lightly, and if your an employee of the company you can now be fired for texting while driving. Good move Disney in keeping the streets that much safer.
The company sent out a memo to all employees on Thursday saying that:
“it is enhancing its vehicle safety policy effective immediately” and “failure to comply will lead to disciplinary actions up to and including termination.”
Employees of Disney employees are now not allowed to read or send texts or emails while driving company cars, and even more importantly their OWN PRIVATE cars if they are doing anything that relates to their position.
We love Disney even more for taking such a move and wish that more companies will get on board.
Google is the ultimate company to work for with all the perks the company offers their employees that include free haircuts, foosball and pool table entertainment, laundry facilities, onsite medical staff and free cafeteria food everyday all hours of the day. If this is not like the perfect company to work for, we don’t know what is.
And to top things off, the employees are known to have an handsome salary and leak was provided to the media recently in which Google will be giving their employees a least 10% starting January 1stand their CEO Eric Schmidt has decided with the board we are sure to reward Google employees with a $1,000 cash holiday bonus (tax free). The rise hike and bonus incentive to its employees is said to be an internal issue was not to be released to the press. Google has since fired an employee for leaking this information.
What a way to keep employees motivated and have moral at a high level. Having good employees continuing to work for them will no doubt allow them to continue with their dominance in the business sector.
