Yes, believe it or not, just days ago Don Lemon revealed to the world that he is gay. Really don’t know about you guys, but this news came as a shock for me, as I always thought he was a ladies man and clearly the women liked him, this week I am sure there are many disappointed women out there. Boy was he ever nervous as he revealed the news to the world and as well as he should be, because of all the cultures out there, the black culture is one that is not easily acceptable of same-sex interest. Just a year ago Lemon shocked us when he came out on Cnn saying that he was sexually molested, why he decided to tell us this, we don’t know but thought it was too much at the time. Lemon who is now 45 believe it or not, looks more like 36 has a new memoir coming out called “Transparent,” in it he speaks of the risk of coming out as a gay man.
Here is what he said of him coming out:
“I’m scared. “I’m talking about something that people might shun me for, ostracize me for.”
And then speaks on the black community’s tolerance on the issue:
“It’s about the worst thing you can be in black culture. You’re taught you have to be a man; you have to be masculine. In the black community they think you can pray the gay away.”
Especially when woman in the black community are constantly looking for good black men and have difficulty in finding one and now hear this of a man many of them have come to love, for sure there will be outspoken people of the black community from Lemon’s revelation. Now that he has come out, you wonder if Anderson Cooper will make it offical that he is also gay. Because it has become so obvious over the years that he is gay. Time will tell.

The downfall of the economy has affected everyone on some level, and you believe it, even Queen Elizabeth of England is feeling the hit. She is the last person I would think would be feel any affects from the economy that would force her to change her lifestyle. So I guess the rich are hurting too, just maybe as much as the middle class. Reportedly the queen has cancelled this year’s Christmas Party at her iconic London home in a response to the rough times the economy has brought onto us that is said to be affecting her subjects. Here is what was said by a spokesperson for the royal family:
“Given the current economic climate, it was thought that it was appropriate for the household to show restraint,” a royal spokesman
After seeing that statement, I don’t nooooooooo, this sounds like they have the money and just are trying to be sensitive to the public, because they fear that throwing such a lavish party may cause outrage from the public as to how they are throwing away money in tough times.

For once the right attention is being is sheding on bullying and big steps are being taking from all corners it seems now to prevent bullying, which has been a problem in our school systems for years. Facebook has joined the fight against bullying in joing forces with GLAAD to decrease no just gay bullying, which have gained so much attention in the media lately but bullying overall over the internet GLAAD and Facebook have joined forces in an effort to decrease hate and anti-gay bullying on the Internet. Facebook announced that they will be more observant and taking steps in responding to hateful speech, which violates their terms of service and needs to be removed. Public Policy Communications Manager for Facebook, Andrew Noyes, sent out an email yesterday and appeared on Cnn today, explaining how they plan to work closely with GLAAD and other LGBT organizations in the near future to create a non bullying atmosphere.
Larry King has said that it is time to hang up his suspenders, after 25 years and 50,000 interviews, he is finally tired and will be leaving CNN this year. Well, teqnically, he will not be leaving CNN, it is said that he will be reporting on special stories for the network. This will allow him more flexibility and for him to focus on his overall well-being. 50, 000 interviews, that is amazing. Way to go Larry, you deserve the rest. Larry has been on the air long before some of you were born, are you going to miss seeing him every night?
We never thought she would actually do it, but Sandra has finalized her divorce from her Jessie James, her husband of five years. We really thought she was going to give him another chance. Anyways, we are siding with her, because seriously, how can you be unfaithful to the person you say you love. Hopefully Sandra will find someone that will truly love and appreciate her.
